A portion of the Solo 8' Gross Gamba came into the inventory of S.P. Keith & Associates in about 2017; the disposition of the remainder of the instrument is unknown.
Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- The church reportedly partially burned in the 1960's; in 1965, Old South merged with Tatnuck Congregational Churches and formally took the name First Congregational Church in Worcester, using the Tatnuck facility at 1070 Pleasant St. According to the factory specifications for Op. M-2498, the organ apparently was overhauled and releathered by Moller in 1968 for the University of Rhode Island in Kingston RI, where it was to be installed by Moller representative Arnold C. Rathbun in chambers to be prepared by the university.
Identified from factory documents and publications courtesy of Stephen Schnurr.
