Jeff Scofield on January 7th, 2024:

The organ was originally installed as Moller Op. 5830 in 1930 at First Congregational Church (Old South) in Worcester, Massachusetts; the church reportedly partially burned in the 1960's; in 1965, Old South merged with Tatnuck Congregational Churches and formally took the name First Congregational Church in Worcester, using the Tatnuck facility at 1070 Pleasant St. The organ was overhauled and releathered by Moller in 1968 as Op. M-2498 for the University of Rhode Island in Kingston RI, where it was to be installed by Moller representative Arnold C. Rathbun in chambers to be prepared by the university.
