The organ was rebuilt in 1965 by William J. Mollema, a Kalamazoo College student at the time, and expanded to five divisions and 53 ranks with chests extending into the chancel area. A new, moveable console was also installed at this time. Alexander Boggs Ryan, of Western Michigan University, served as consultant.
