According to the 2024 OHS Convention Handbook, “[David] Storey replaced the Great windchest in 2009 to add the Trumpet 8’. The new windchest was built in Storey’s workshop in Baltimore.”
Updated by Steven Bartley, who maintains the organ.
Despite the quirky specification, the organ provides a good example of early German import organs. The tracker action is aluminum, and has been redesigned, from the original "string" key action. The imposing modern case, fits well in the mid-century A-frame church, though its construction, throughout is minimal. The voicing is mild and pleasant.
Updated through online information from John Igoe. -- The Hilbus Chapter visited this organ in 2007. A trumpet has been added to the organ since 2007.
