Database Manager on July 29th, 2014:
Updated through online information from Scot Huntington. -- The center pinnacle of the gothic organ case was crudely cut down by members of the congregation to fit under a dropped ceiling in the undercroft fellowship hall. At the time I last saw the organ in the early 1980s, it was winded off the main sanctuary blower feed (Casavant Freres Ltd), and was live whenever the main organ was running. At some point in the 1970s, members of the congregation crudely "antiqued" the instrument, covering everything in sight: the casework, pedals, bench, façade pipes, key desk and jambs, etc. After having been barely functional for many years, the organ was refurbished to playable condition in the late 1970s-early 1980s, at which time it was loudened and revoiced, obliterating the original Andrews voicing.

Database Manager on May 18th, 2012:
Updated through online information from Richard Schwartz. -- The Andrews organ is currently on of 3 pipe organs housed within First Lutheran; it remains unaltered and playable. This organ is currently housed within in the parlors of the church (the undercroft).
