This organ was originally built for the Lutheran Church of Honolulu, and served there for only three years before being replaced by a much larger, 2-manual & pedal Rudolf von Beckerath. The 1972 instrument was offered for sale in the May 1975 issue of Music for $12,000.00. The instrument is housed in a free-standing oak case with an attached keydesk. The manuals are divided between tenor B and middle c. The Pedal 16' Subbass and the Manual-to-Pedal coupler are both operated by hitch-down foot levers. The 2' Principal has 4_ pipes en facade.

Updated through online information from Thomas Goedecke: Unfortunately, this instrument was lost to the wildfires in Lahaina on August 8, 2023. It is neither extant or playable.
While not yet confirmed, it seems likely that the church and organ perished in the recent (August 2023) wild fires which all but detroyed the town of Lahaina.
