This organ was originally built for the Lutheran Church of Honolulu, and served there for only three years before being replaced by a much larger, 2-manual & pedal Rudolf von Beckerath. The 1972 instrument was offered for sale in the May 1975 issue of Music for $12,000.00. The instrument is housed in a free-standing oak case with an attached keydesk. The manuals are divided between tenor B and middle c. The Pedal 16' Subbass and the Manual-to-Pedal coupler are both operated by hitch-down foot levers. The 2' Principal has 4_ pipes en facade.
