This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by T. Daniel Hancock, using information found in Ogasapian, 1977. -- Ogasapian, 1977, notes that couplers were probably "S-G, S-C, C-P, G-P, S-P," and that this was Stuart's "last three-manual organ." Further, "The tonal design is highly irregular, if not unique, for a three-manual organ built before the 1890's, in that it is totally without mixtures. Moreover, chorus reeds are absent in the Swell; instead, there are found the smoother toned, orchestral 'Cornopean,' and the distinctively colored 'Vox Humana.'"
