The Rudolph Wurlitzer Co.
Opus 2238, 1943

Updated through online information from William Dunklin.

Altered and relocated existing organ.
Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in David Junchen's "The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History.".
-- This organ was originally built for the Rialto Theatre in Lockport NY as a style F-special, 3 manuals and 10 ranks. In 1943 it went back to the Wurlitzer company to be rebuilt for Buffalo NY's radio station WGR/WKBW. The organ became opus 2238, the last organ to come out of the Wurlitzer factory. In just over 22 years, they had built just over 2200 organs.
