Built for the Paramount Theatre, St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1957, moved to KSTP-TV, also in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1983, moved to the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin, a gift from Hubbard Broadcasting and the Stanley Hubbard family, owners of KSTP-TV.

This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in David Junchen The Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, an Illustrated History p. 664.
-- The building was originally called the Capitol Theatre and contained Kilgen opus 3037. In 1926 Paramount bought the theatre, removed the Kilgen and installed the Wurlitzer. The Wurlitzer has been relocated to the Phipps Center for the Arts, Hudson, Wisconsin, with minor additions and alterations.
