Andrew Henderson on March 4th, 2025:
From the Westfield Republican (November 12, 1941): "Bishop Straughn ... officiated at the Welch Memorial Organ Dedication Service in the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 5:00 ... The afternoon service was the presentation of an organ given the Methodist Church for its Epworth League rooms by William T. Welch in memory of his mother, Mrs. Charles Welch. The organ, formerly in the Welch home, has been in the process of installation in its new location since August at the cost of $1200."
