This entry represents the installation of a used organ. Identified through online information from Steven Bartley (July 26, 2025): An article in the Oxford Public Ledger, Oxford, NC. Jan. 13, 1917, says that the old organ, which had served the church for many years was removed and donated to Holy Trinity Church Townsville, NC.
The organ was originally built for the 1832 building of St. Stephen's Episcopal in Oxford, NC. and relocated to their new edifice in 1902. It was relocated here to Holy Trinity when St. Stephen's acquired a new Austin in 1916.
