Timothy E. Conyers on February 11th, 2026:
This entry represents the installation of the 1905 A. B. Felgemaker organ, Opus 878, into a new building without any known changes to the instrument. In 2016 the Bethel A.M.E. Church sold its historic building on Vermont Street in downtown Indianapolis. A new building was constructed in northwest Indianapolis close to the town of Zionsville in 2018. The pipe organ was moved into the new edifice, and the congregation changed its name to Bethel Cathedral A.M.E. Church at this time.
