Restored "according the the guidelines of the Organ Historical Society" by Kerner & Merchant -- builder ad, 2005 OHS Handbook
The organ was originally built for the previous brick edifice on the same
site.
The organ is free-standing and encased with a recessed keydesk covered by
folding doors. The 3-sectional façade contains 17 gold-painted pipes arranged: 5-7-5. This includes pipes 3-17 of the Great 8' Open Diapason. Pipes 1 & 2 are inside the case. The Clarabella has 24 stopped basses and turns open with inverted mouths at middle C. The 4' Flute is also of open wood with inverted mouths.
The Swell 2' Piccolo and III Cornet are more recent knobs. The original Haut-
boy knob as of the 1970 OHS convention was labeled Trumpet but controlled an 8' string rank of unknown origins. The III Cornet (probably Dolce Cornet) is
12-15-17 throughout.
The Pedal 16' Doub. Op. Dia. stop controlled a non-original 16' Bourdon on a
pneumatic action which replaced the original Open pipes in the 1930's. The
non-original 16' Bourdon knob plays the lowest notes of the same rank on
reduced wind. There are 32-pipes in the rank, but the top 7 are blanked-off.
