Thurlow B. Weed on October 20th, 2020:

1976: purchased from The Palace by Vance Haydenfeldt, Storm Lake, Iowa, for use in The Rink (roller skating rink).

March 1993: National Music Museum (NMM) purchased the organ for $2,500 from Haydenfeldt, saving it (especially the metal pipes) from being sold for scrap; museum staff members disassembled it and transported it back to the NMM for safe storage. The organ was assigned catalog number NMM 5492.

(Information received from Dr. Margaret Banks, Sr., Curator of Musical Instruments at National Music Museum in Vermillion, South Dakota.)
