"In August of 1942 Session approved the purchase of an Estey pipe organ that was being removed from the First Presbyterian Church of Easton. This larger instrument would replace the original Kimball organ. The main organ was placed in the front of the sanctuary and an additional pipe chamber was built in the balcony to house an antiphonal division. The new three manual organ had 23 ranks of pipes and 29 stops."

This entry represents the installation of a used organ. The Estey was originally built for First Presbyterian Church in Easton, PA. It was removed in 1942 and sold to First Presbyterian in Stroudsburg, PA., replacing this church's 1901 W.W. Kimball Co. instrument.
